The Show with Hot Questions and Even Hotter Wings

First We Feast is a channel that hit YouTube in March of 2014. The show was able to capitalize on the popularity of food competition shows like Top Chef and Iron Chef.   The first video uploaded was an interview with Joy Choi, one of the founders of the food truck movement.

Rachael Ray was featured in their second video in which she teaches viewers how to make three dishes: carbonara, Ohio nachos, and an amazing grilled cheese; all within four minutes.

Then, on March 12, 2015, “Hot Ones” was born on First We Feast. “Hot Ones,” the show with hot questions, and even hotter wings is a show in which the host Sean Evans interviews celebrities while they both eat ten progressively hotter wings. If the celebrity eats all ten wings then they get a 30-second plug at the end of the video.

The genius of the interviewing style is what gets First We Feast the most attention. Putting celebrities in an uncomfortable situation, such as eating incredibly hot wings, causes them to lower their inhibitions and say outrageously uncensored things. Given that no one ever knows what to expect from this show, “Hot Ones” has accumulated over 2 million viewers.
