Lost and Lonely by Isabell Verhine

Her inspiration for this piece occurred at the beginning of the year when she first moved to the U.S. from Ludowici and before that from Japan. When she first moved, it was the beginning of her spiritual awakening when she started to be more in tune with the universe. She always had a fascination with the supernatural and otherworldly elements, so she thought back to some of the fascinating stories and fairytale adventures that she had read about and remembered when she was younger. There was also a little bit of inspiration from some Dungeon and Dragons character designs she had created. The piece’s title is Lost and Lonely, something she later turned in for a grade in Mrs. Jenkins’ art class.
