With the school year rapidly ending, the staff and students of Cass High are determined to finish up the year strong and not lose morale now that we are in the final stretch. Within the hustle and bustle of things, studying for these AP Tests and EOCs, and making those final college preparations, some of the smaller end-of-year aspects and events get altogether forgotten. Below are reminders for students of what to do before they leave and important dates to mark on their calendars. First off, while this announcement goes to the general public of Cass High, it is especially relevant to seniors. Remember to pre-order yearbooks by May 9th to ensure you have something to commemorate your high school experience. Pre-order yearbooks by scanning the QR code in the hallway or bring cash to Mrs. Berresford in room 2.107. A copy costs $70, but they will not be there forever, so order one as soon as possible.
Next is prom, the one event that seems virtually impossible for any high school student to forget. While forgetting prom is out of the question, students tend to ignore the smaller aspects that go into attending prom. Often, when caught up in dress shopping and finding a date, some things tend to slip through the cracks, like buying the tickets or buying heels that go with the dress. A prom check-off list is posted below this paragraph to combat this issue, so students have something to run through and guarantee they are prepared for the big day.

May 16th: Grad Practice and class picture (seniors need to attend graduation practice to be able to walk at graduation)
May 19th: Graduation
By this point, the seniors have finished high school. Congratulations: all they have left is to walk the stage and get their diplomas. Just remember the date, and do not accidentally leave your caps and gowns at home. Graduation will start at 8 PM in the stadium.
