Although it is so early in 2025, there have been a large number of events that have happened. Whether these events have been bad or good is for people to have their own opinion on. However, this new year has brought many tragedies. For instance, there have been approximately seven deadly plane crashes in the United States alone since the beginning of 2025, as well as a few plane crashes that occurred without fatalities. These incidents have happened all across the nation. All of these incidents have sparked ideas in peoples’ brains. They wonder who to blame, what the causes were, whether there are target victims and much more. Many are wondering if there is more to come. If so, how much of it is there? They wonder if these are true accidental tragedies or if someone is behind them.

Some of the more famous crashes in the U.S. included a collision involving a helicopter and a plane. American Airlines Flight 5342 and the U.S. Army Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter collided just before the plane landed at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. This resulted in 67 fatalities, tragically ending all lives on board. The flight included a team of young, talented ice skaters, among many other innocent passengers. Another crash, Med Jets Flight 056, occurred shortly after they departed from Northeast Philadelphia Airport.  A Med Jet flight relates to a medical evacuation subscription service. This indicates that someone really ill was on board. All six individuals on board, as well as one individual on the ground, were determined deceased. Twenty-four were injured.

However, not all of these doomed planes were unlucky. Delta Connection Flight 4819 crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Upon impact, they were flipped upside down. All 80 occupants survived, with 21 injuries. At San Diego Bay near Shelter Island, a U.S. military EA-18G Growler fighter jet crashed. However, both pilots were rescued by a fisherman, and no fatalities occurred. Even though these crashes luckily resulted in no deaths, they still could lead to trauma. Even thinking about a plane crash nearby could shake someone up, but to be in one is a whole other story.

These spooky situations have people fleeing to social media, looking for answers. Many people online have discussed how grateful people should be to make it home safely from a flight. They began normalizing clapping after landing again. On the other hand, much of society has refused to fly.  However, even after all these incidents, aviation safety experts say flying is still the safest form of travel. Most of these crashes have been blamed on weather issues, others are blamed on part failure. A handful are still being investigated. However, some have made bold accusations. Some are blaming it on the uproar of political controversy. There are a countless number of theories out there.

Many innocent lives were claimed by these tragic crashes. Many families mourn the loss of their loved ones. A great number of people’s lives are changed by these mishaps. A great number of these victims are going to endure trauma and struggle in their futures. Almost nobody knows the answer to how to handle grief or how it goes. It can be different for every single person. This aftermath makes almost all of the situations worse. Not to mention the endless talk following these incidents will always be a reminder to victims, as well as the blow-up on social media of all the people worrying and wondering. They will forever be remembered in history. These people may never know peace and comfort. This makes society crave answers even more.

In the end, the world is a scary place to be. For it to be so early into the year and have so many fatalities related to the same incident is bizarre. Also, the little to no explanation can be even crazier. Although people may never know the answers to all of these tragic plane crashes, it is still important to take notice of them. All the deaths, trauma, and theories, all of the money lost; it all adds up to one huge problem. The weather could be to blame for all of it. Maybe the broken parts have a big part they play. At the end of the day, the main question that needs answering is how to deal with all of the pain that came along with the crashes.
