In high school, you’ll find yourself in the bathroom at one point or another. Whether you’re socializing, adjusting how you look, changing, or using the bathroom, nobody wants to do that in a dirty or crowded bathroom. Determined to find the best bathroom to handle your business, multiple students were randomly selected from each grade to answer questions. From freshmen to seniors, it all came down to one bathroom being the absolute best bathroom.
Some student’s names will be struck from the record for privacy reasons, considering this is a unique topic that people might not want to be associated with (shocking). Luckily a few good responses were collected. A junior student was asked about which bathrooms are better, upstairs or downstairs? Their answer was, “My favorite bathrooms would have to be the ones downstairs because they’re pretty clean and I don’t have to lose my breath walking up the stairs.” On the other side of that, a fresh, mansays, “Everyone knows walking up the stairs is a breathtaker, but those bathrooms are closest to all of my classes. It’s more convenient because it’s on the same floor as the library and the office.” After receiving that answer, it was followed by two questions. What bathroom has the most people and what bathroom has the most? “I would say the upstairs bathroom down that little hallway has the least people, and the bathroom with the most is definitely the downstairs freshmen bathroom.”
Qualities that make a good bathroom are always being stocked with the necessities, cleanliness, and availability. “A bathroom that never has soap is the freshmen bathroom downstairs and the upstairs bathroom near the elevator. I think I would probably say the one that always has soap is the bathrooms near the vending machines above the cafeteria. To answer about the cleanest bathroom, I would definitely say it has to be the bathroom down the little math hallway upstairs.” After extensive research to conclude what the best bathroom in the school is, the following results were found:
The answers to the questions may be surprising to some people:
–Which of the school bathrooms are better than the rest?
Majority (75%) answered the downstairs “(small) hallway” bathroom.
–Are the upstairs or downstairs bathrooms better in your opinion?
Majority (90%) answered downstairs.
-What bathroom do you think is the most/least populated?
There was a tie between the downstairs freshmen bathroom and the upstairs bathroom (near the elevator) being most populated.
Unanimously, the upstairs math hallway bathroom was said to be the least populated bathroom.
–What bathroom is generally the cleanest?
Majority (55%) answered that the upstairs math hallway bathroom was said to be the cleanest.
-Do you use the school bathrooms at all?
Majority (95%) said they did use the bathrooms at school.
-What is the bathroom you use the most?
Majority (60%) said the downstairs freshman bathroom.
-What bathroom is easiest to get to from the front office?
Majority (55%) answered the nurse’s bathroom.
-What bathroom always has soap?
Majority (60%) answered the upstairs math hallway bathroom.
-What bathroom never has soap?
Majority (90%) said the freshman bathroom downstairs.
As surprising as some of the results of the interviews were, some questions had popular answers. Overall, the worst bathroom was the freshman downstairs bathroom (located downstairs near the elevator), and the best bathroom was the “small hallway” (located downstairs near Dr. Moore’s office). How many of the answers do you agree with and what would you change about some of the bathrooms?
