After nearly a year of waiting, fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) are super excited to see a new addition in the movie series! Not only are fans excited for a new film to come out after a long wait but also for a Black widow movie! According to IMBd.com, black widow will be “a film about Natasha Romanoff in her quests between Captain America Civil War and Avengers infinity war.” It appears that the fan favorite assassin will be teaming up with her sister Yelena and their parental figures in a attempt to take down the red room organization that raised them to be trained killers. While this might not be the origin story prequal that many people wanted, it’s still a movie that fans have waited a long tim

e for and are very excited to see.

With its new action and comedy packed trailer, Black Widow gets more hype and excitement by showing more of the mysterious villain, Taskmaster. In the trailer you can spot multiple moments that Taskmaster’s fighting was oddly familiar, well according to collider.com, Taskmaster “…has the ability to mimic the physical movements of anyone that they observe.” This explains why the trailer shows Taskmaster watching a video of Black Widow fighting, this is because he’s observing her techniques and movements to use them later. Unfortunately for Natasha Romanoff and her family, it’ll be like fighting herself and her fellow avengers, because he’s also be seen using the fighting styles of Captain America, Spider-man, Hawkeye, and Black Panther.

Not only is seeing Black Widow return an exciting part of this movie but fans can’t wait to see parts of Natasha’s life before she was an avenger by including her non-biological family. While people are interested in the funny and deadly parental figures Melina and Alexei, fans seem to be more interested in Florence Pugh’s character Yelena. This is because in the comics, Yelena becomes Black Widow after Natasha, and due to the fact that Natasha died in Avengers Endgame, fans theorize that Yelena will become the new Black widow in the MCU. Stylecaster.com seems to think the Black widow movie will be an origin for Yelena by pointing out that “…fans speculate that Black Widow is a vehicle to set up Pugh’s character to take her (Natasha’s) place.” However, not everyone thinks this, after witnessing a scene in the trailer that shows a hurt Yelena and crying Natasha touch heads, theorists point out that Yelena wears the vest that Natasha wore in Avengers infinity War. They also remembered that Natasha dyed her hair blonde like Yelena before infinity War so that leads to them believing that Yelena will die, and that Natasha changed her look to sort of honor Yelena. These aren’t the only theories about Yelena, there are theories that she’ll betray Natasha and different theorizes as to why and how she betrays her sister. No one knows what will happen with newly introduced assassin but in about two months we’ll be able to know and see Scarlett Johannsson return as the Russian spy Black widow on May 1, 2020!
