Dallas Alexander has now moved on to her next audition for America’s Got Talent. This will be her seventh audition for the show.

She has been singing for years, but people often don’t realize how much work she actually puts into her craft. In fact, I found her studying other singers just before I asked to interview her. Additionally, Dallas posts videos of her singing on her Instagram that she will often learn in a single day. However, just because she learns the songs in a day, that doesn’t mean the videos are simply thrown together. Alexander stated that she may record up to fourteen videos before posting the final product.

“I put a lot of work into singing,” Alexander stated when speaking on her passion. To her singing isn’t just a hobby. It’s a burning love that needs to be nurtured, and because of this, Dallas is always singing. “I’m just singing all day. I sing when I’m mad…I sing everything.” Dallas isn’t stumbling upon opportunity, she’s striving for success. Every. Single. Day. This dedication is especially admirable because, as Dallas put it, “some people have their own opinions.” Alexander isn’t always met with admiration when she sings but she chooses to rise above the negative comments that some people may throw at her. She’s confident in her abilities, stating: “I don’t really care what people have to say about my singing. I like it. That’s all that matters to me.”

This work that Dallas puts in is already starting to pay off. She will be singing the national anthem for the Rome Braves this summer. Dallas refuses to let singing on  America’s Got Talent be her only goal. “There’s more stuff than America’s Got Talent that can get you out there and get you seen,” she stated.

Dallas Alexander is still becoming a stronger singer on a daily basis and it’s inspiring to see a person so young working so hard. She’s humble but confident and always ready to work. Such strong characteristics, I’m sure, will equal success for the passionate vocalist.
