Fear of Dorian Dominating the Southeast

While dodging Puerto Rico and other islands off the coast of America, Hurricane Dorian is heading straight towards Florida as we speak. Florida is known for the hurricanes and tropical storms it gets struck by from the Hurricane Dorian is stage 4 (which could possibly increase by the time it hits the U.S.), which is scheduled to hit the majority of Florida on late Sunday through Monday.
Most of Florida is in threat of this very dangerous storm and will cause flooding and damage. News outlets on the southeast boarder are keeping constant updates on the storm, such as CNN. However, no matter where you live, it is important to take safety precautions and understand them. CNN posted a warning with 14 steps to take before a storm approaches:

Because this hurricane has switched tracks from what the weather channels thought, it is very unpredictable–like most storms. CNN meteorologist Rob Shackelford says, “There is a wide cone of uncertainty to the storm, especially since it is still days from landfall on Florida.” Since then the storm has expanded and will hit southern areas in Georgia with tropical storms following. Regardless, it is still safe to prepare.
Not only are news channels like CNN talking about the issue, but others like Snapchat news outlets are speaking out, such as The Wall Street Journal. “Many Floridiana were heeding the warnings Thursday,” Wall Street says, “Gasoline became a hot commodity as residents rushed to fill up their cars and trucks.” Many are planning on evacuating, as most planning to already have because Florida and southern Georgia are under state of emergency warning people to. Remember to stay safe and take the safety precautions no matter where you are, to stay as safe as possible.
