Talent Show

On Wednesday night, October 4th, Cass High School’s choral director, Jared Summey, proudly hosted Cass High’s 7th annual talent show. Alongside Mr. Summey were Kaya Smith and Corbin Molnar functioning as the shows emcee’s, introducing each act and providing words of gratuity to each performer. Alongside these entertaining introductions was a short heart-felt introduction given by Corbin Molnar as his sister, Chloe Molnar, went onstage to perform the song ‘How Far I’ll Go’ from Disney’s Moana. 

Aside from the emcee’s and Chloe Molnar were a multitude of other performances from fellow Cass High students, including: Kaylie O’Bryant preforming ‘Jar Of Hearts’ by Christina Perri, Destiny Wilkey singing ‘Writings On The Wall’ by Sam Smith, Raven Pope singing ‘I See Fire’ by Ed Sheeran, Retta Kirby performing ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’ by Doris Day, Kaliah Turner rapping to ‘Know Me’ by Deetranda, Candace Maggard singing ‘Burning House’ by Cam, Stefani Collins performing ‘Beyond My Wildest Dream’ from the musical The Little Mermaid, Minal Dalwadi singing ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ by Gotye, and Reese Boyd and William Woods performing ‘Dust In The Wind’ by Kansas.

The show was concluded with a final performance by the Cass High chorus performing the songs ‘He Never Failed Me Yet’ and ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’. Following the chorus were the judges’ results, the winners were:
